Techcraft Solution Series TRK50B TV Stand Review

Techcraft Solution Series TRK50B TV Stand

While the quality of the item seems above the norm, customer service from this company is dreadful. My new equipment sat around in boxes waiting for a replacement for a damaged shelf that was delayed, then delayed again, by mix-ups on the company's part. Their refusal to budge an inch from their standard process, even though it meant further delay for a very unhappy consumer who had gotten tired of run-arounds and excuses, is a far cry from the real customer service I've experienced elsewhere. I will never buy another TechCraft item.

WOOD TECHNOLOGY HD-SW32 Ebony Hardwood TV Swivel for 30" - 32" TVs Review

WOOD TECHNOLOGY HD-SW32 Ebony Hardwood TV Swivel for 30 - 32 TVs
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I thought I'd leave a review since no one purchases large cathode-ray tube TV's anymore.
I've done a lot of due diligence and on paper this was the best swivel stand out there.
Now I have this thing in my possession, here are my impressions:
This swivel is LARGE and HEAVY as it's solid wood, not cheap particle board.
I have a 55" LED TV (VIZIO XVT3D554SV) and am happy how the TV now swivels easily... there is no rocking or any other movement of the TV other than swiveling as intended.
My TV weighs 80 lbs, well under this swivel's 250 lbs limit.
The actual swivel mechanism is 1/4 of an inch tall so the TV is not going to fall even if there is a catastrophic failure of the mechanism but that's not going to happen as the bearings are encased in steel.
The wood is nicely painted black and seamlessly matches my TV's black frame.
I would recommend this swivel if your large LED/plasma TV does not have a built-in swivel.

Cheetah Mounts APLCMB Plasma LCD TV Tilt And Swivel Ceiling Mount for 32 to 63-Inch (Black) Review

Cheetah Mounts APLCMB Plasma LCD TV Tilt And Swivel Ceiling Mount for 32 to 63-Inch (Black)
Average Reviews:

Ok I don't know where to start, as far as pieces go everything ever needed is included as far as mounting different Tv's. The top bracket tilts for use on a vaulted ceiling however you can't get the screw tight enough to stop the tilt, which makes the tv look like it's taking a nose dive. The joint where the bars meet the swival bar is for junk, it bends alot at this joint, and no it's not supposed to bend. It hooks to the tv wonderfully, however the tv seams a little top heavy. We have the back bracket up all the way (on our 50 inch tv) there is a tilt divice but it is NOT needed because the tv tilts/pulls away from the top of the bar. The bar is in no way straight up and down. The tv sits at a tilt of more than 15 degrees without the tilt device tilted any. The 360 degree swival works but as you turn the tv around the bar freaks out and makes you think the tv is going to hit the floor. I would not purchase this again, and now we have nothing to hang our Tv. I guess the biggest mistake in the design are the bars, there just not right. Sorry cheetah company but I just couldn't give this a good review. However if you reemburse me I'll give you as a company a good review.

The ceiling plate for this mount swivels a full 90 degrees. This allows you to place the plate IN your ceiling and mount it to the side of a ceiling beam. The pole then drops from the plate and passes through a 2.5-Inch hole that is cut in the drywall of the ceiling. When you look at the ceiling you will see no more than a 2.5-Inch hole with the ceiling mount pole extended down. With cable management ability, the poles conceal all wires and cables. This same mount also accommodates vaulted and angled ceilings. This is a complete kit including the ceiling plate, extension pole, TV mount, TV mount adapter, installation instructions and all necessary hardware. The APLCMB is the best ceiling mount available on Ebay for Flat Panel TV's at an affordable cost.

Z-Line Sync Flat Panel TV Stand with Integrated Mount Review

Z-Line Sync Flat Panel TV Stand with Integrated Mount
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
It took a long time to get this item when I selected free shipping -- about 2.5 weeks. But it did arrive before the specified arrival date. This is the largest, tallest free-standing TV mount I could find anywhere, with at least nine inches between the two glass shelves. That distance is important for across-the-top air flow if you need fans to cool your components. It does create a commanding presence in the room.
When you get the box on your porch, you will be in for a treat! But, do some preparation first. It can be assembled by one person. Haul it into the house. Now, go get the vaccuum cleaner! Don't even open the box without it at hand. The styrofoam will float. A thousand tiny grains everywhere, so vaccuum everything off as you pull it out. Else, you will find styrofoam bits forever. Initially, the directions are basically simple and extra connectors are provided so you absolutely will be putting this thing together. Every piece is numbered in sequence of assembly so you can't lose anything. If you are vaccuming, you will avoid cleaning up later. Once you have the parts out and identified decide to put the cabinent together in one process because you have to glue it all together, as well as screw it together. Its takes about 2 hours if you are being careful. Make sure you glue carefully and place the connectors precisely and the bottom cabinent construction will be tight and virtually unbreakable. There was one mis-aligned hole punched in the metal brackets for connection of the bottom of the cabinent to the frame, but this was not a problem because three out of four was quite tight enough. Putting the drawer together is important -- do it carefully -- the first time I tried to push it in I thought I had reversed the sides. But it needed a bit of force and works fine.
I put a 54 inch 85 lb TV on this stand with a 65 lb receiver on the bottom shelf and a mostly self-supported 105 lb amplifier on the other side of the bottom shelf... I think there may be between 70-90 lbs altogether on the bottom shelf. I didn't want to test it past that! I was already exceptionally pleased that it was so sturdy. Don't overload the glass shelves. I have the center channel on top (10 lbs) and the BDP and cable box on the second. The wire guides are in helpful positions and I did use one for the seven-channel analogue crossover cables to the amp. The others are for power cords, HDMI cables, and speaker cables. It does work, and it is very functional.
If there is a better mount for an audiophile set-up, I can't find it. Careful assembly is the key. Enjoy!

It was the perfect solution for my need to raise up my TV high enough to allow room under it for my newly purchased speaker. I wanted both the TV and speaker to fit on top of my TV table and still be able to have the TV remote not be blocked by the speaker in front of it. HP W2338H 23-Inch Widescreen Monitor Review

HP W2338H 23-Inch Widescreen Monitor
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I would have gave it five stars but read why I didn't below.
Great color, nice and bright display, well made. I traded in my dual 19" monitor set-up and I am very happy.
Pros:
built-in speakers (when you don't need to listen to music at a loud volume)
true high definition
hdmi port
stand allows you to place your keyboard on it to clear up desk space
power button and power indicator on top so it doesn't annoy you
swivels and pivots
Cons:
only has vga and hdmi ports, no dvi
only came with the vga cord, no hdmi (Acer comes with all three)
lousy one-year warrantyI like it. The only comparable in size and cost is the Acer Computer X233H BD 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor. It's got a three-year warranty and vga, hdmi, and a dvi ports. Also comes with all three cables.
I have not compared the two next to each other. If the graphics look as good on the Acer, I'm going to return this HP and get the Acer since it has more ports for better adaptability, more cords so you don't have to spend any money, and a three-year warranty for peace of mind. Also, the Acer has 40000 to 1 contrast ratio vs the HP's 30000 to 1 contrast ratio.
I will update when I get to review the Acer.
Updated on May 11th, 2009:
Well I checked out the Acer X233H and though it is more flexible and have more bang for the buck, this is definitely a nicer monitor performance wise. First of all, the Acer has a flat picture. Less glare but the picture and graphics of the HP really come out at you. They are sharper and crisper than the Acer.
I really like the location of the power button on the HP because it is on top and not in front starting at you as a distraction if you are using the monitor at little to low light. I have a very nice back-lit Logitech keyboard and when I type in little to no light, there is no glaring power indicator in front of me.
I also think that the stand of the Acer is really weak and though it looks good, is not multi-functional like the HP, where you can store the keyboard, freeing up your desk when you need to use your desk.
With that said, I am keeping my HP and not getting the Acer.

HP 2710m 27-Inch Diagonal HD Ready LCD Monitor - Black Review

HP 2710m 27-Inch Diagonal HD Ready LCD Monitor - Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I wanted to use a large monitor for my computer and initially purchased a Panasonic TC-L32S1 32 inch IPS lcd tv for this purpose based on recommendations out on the web. That TV was way to large to properly read documents and browse the web, no matter how fun it might have been to use for games. The pixel pitch is very important and sitting at a distance of 3 feet from a 32 inch tv does not work, as the pixels seem way to big. I wanted to find a better option that was a little smaller and this 27 inch monitor seems to be the perfect size. I sit about 2 feet away from it and even though it is considerably smaller than the 32 inch tv, it still feels MUCH larger than the 23 inch samsung monitor I also own.
I've been using this monitor for a week now and have noticed the following:
The native resolution is NOT too small for this size of screen. Some people complain that 1920 x 1080 is too little of a resolution for anything over a 23/24 inch monitor. I also use a laptop with a 17 inch screen with a 1920 x 1200 resolution and text on it can seem very small due to the small pixel pitch. After using this 27 inch monitor with a much larger pixel pitch, I can tell you that if you sit at normal distance from this monitor, you will not "notice each pixel" because of their larger size. Text looks large and sharp, but not lacking in detail. Of course, if you get very close to the screen you can see each pixel, but the monitor is meant to sit 2 feet away from you or more. At this distance, the resolution of 1920 x 1080 is more than enough for this size of a monitor.
The glossy screen finish on the monitor makes colors pop a lot, but might bother you if you have windows or lights behind you. I wanted a glossy screen monitor because I have no issue with the reflections of a glossy screen and prefer the pop that glossy screens give to colors. Direct sun light hitting the screen from the side is not much of an issue, as the anti-glare properties work pretty well. However, the screen can still be very reflective of things behind you. The brightness setting on the monitor should be set to half of the default setting, which is blindingly bright out of the box.
Response times on the monitor aren't the best I've experienced (even though listed at 2.5 ms) but are still decent. The low response times can only be achieved by turning on the "Video Overdrive" option, which is turned off by default. I have it on and did notice the motion blur decrease slightly on some motion tests. It is good enough to play games such as first person shooters, but its not the best performer I've seen in this department.
The black level produced by the monitor is not very dark, but the perceived contrast caused by the pop of the colors makes it a very pleasing image. The brightness setting on the monitor seems to only change the strength of the backlight instead of the brightness of the picture, so no matter what brightness setting you use, the black level stays pretty consistent.
The dynamic contrast ratio setting works very well compared to other TV's and monitors I've owned. It is very slow and gradual in adjusting the backlight depending on the scene instead of quickly changing like older tv's do. This makes it a much more seaming-less transition, much like your eye would behave when going from a very bright place to a darker place. I had it turned on for a little while, but decided to leave it off permanently because the monitor goes back to its blindingly bright backlight setting on bright scenes and it hurts the eyes at night time.
Like other monitors, it has pre-exisinting "Text" and "Movie" settings. These seem to just modify the brightness and contrast settings. I decided to leave mine at "Custom" and use the brightness at 50 and the contrast at 80. Setting the constrast any higher will cause white crush (not showing all the details of the brightest range of colors like white).
The color settings allow you to change between 9300k, 6500k, and sRGB. 9300k seemed way to blue, sRGB seemed a little too red and 6500k seemed the most pleasing. I'm unable properly test for the gamma accuracy, but with the Avia calibration tool, there seemed to be very little difference in the gamma/color accuracy of sRGB and 6500k settings.
You can also adjust the Red, Green, and Blue colors individually for better color accuracy. However, like other monitors, there is no Hue or Color Saturation setting to help you do this easierly (with less accuracy).
The viewing angles for the monitor are limited just like any other TN panel. If you sit in front of the monitor, you won't have an issue with the viewing angles. If you plan to have people using it to watch it from steep angles, you should get a different monitor, as the colors will change a lot if viewed from anywhere besides the center position.
In summary:
Great for:
-Great Pop of colors due to glossy screen
-Good size and easy to read text from at a regular distance
-Decent response times for games with Video Overdrive turned on
-Decent black levels due to the contrast caused by bright colors and glossy screen.
-Sturdy and attractive design (monitor does not wobble much on its stand like other big monitors of this size usually do)
Cons:
-Black levels cannot be adjusted very much and stay pretty much the same because the brightness setting is just the backlight strength.
-Limited viewing angle for accurate colors due to TN panel
-Turning the dynamic contrast setting on leads to the monitor using blindingly bright settings in some scenes.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and recommend this monitor to anyone who is not bothered by regular TN panel viewing angles and want a good pop of color from their monitor. The color reproduction might not be as accurate as an IPS panel, but they are darn pretty and POP much more than any IPS panel I've ever worked with.

I bought this after reading other reviews here and it fully lived up to my expectations.
Only concern is that it only has two inputs, one digital and one analogue.

HP 2010i 20-Inch Diagonal HD Ready LCD Monitor - Black Review

HP 2010i 20-Inch Diagonal HD Ready LCD Monitor - Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Pros:
Great Design, beautiful look
Cristal Clear Text and Image
Great Color richness
Great color accuracy
no eye strain
tilt adjusting
matte finish(I prefer matte to glossy)
Energy Star qualified (25W maximum)
100mm x 100mm screw-mount
Cons:
No height adjustment.
no HDMI
sub per speaker
Not very good vertical viewing angle
HP Ads is too sticky
Resolution:
For this size monitor, I think 1600*900 is the ideal size otherwise the text size (1920*1080) will appear too small.
Comparing to 2009m:
2009m is the 2009 model. it is not energy star efficient qualified. it is glossy finish. It does not have 100X100 mount. For 20$ more, I would go for 2010i.
Comparing to 2210m:
The 21.5' 2210m is 1920*1080 full HD with HDMI input and is gloss screen. First of all, 2210m is a great monitor if you like gloss screen and are used to relatively small character size. However, if I have extra cash and if I like glossy screen, I would go for a larger screen such as 2310m or 2509m since the character size is simply too small for me on 2210m than that on 2010i.
Comparing to ViewSonic's VX2250WM-LED 22-Inch
I was also able to compare it to ViewSonic VX2250WM-LED. First of all, I don't think led tech will add better display experience to a monitor but make it a lower power consumption and a lighter body. Considering the color richness and color accuracy, I would like to vote for 2010i because the color on VX2250WM-LED appears to me wash-out and a little weak. The built quality of 2010i is also better. But if you want a lighter display with a higher resolution at a reasonable price, you may want to go with VX2250WM-LED.
Comparing to Samsung 2333SW
I also own Samsung 2333SW. Even if it is full HD, the color is so weak comparing to HP 2010i. The most important thing is that I always feel eye strain on the Samsung 2333SW. I just feel so comfortable working on the HP monitor.
update (11/02/2010): Comparing to HP S2031
I made a dual setup using HP 2010i and HP S2031. I got the HP S2031 from HP for a huge discount. The HP 2010i has an overall better build quality than that of HP S2031. The display experience on two monitors are quite similar except that the text character on HP S2031 has a barely noticeable greenish cast. For under $100, I would go for HP S2031.
Character size:
The character size appears larger on this monitor than that on Samsung 2333Sw 23"(1920*1080) monitor and that on 2210m. You may like this if your eyesight is not as good as before. For 21.5" and 23" monitor, I have to adjust the text size to medium (125%) to feel all right. But on this, default 100% text size appears just perfect for me.
If you are looking for a budget monitor best used for online browsing, text editing, movie playing, and photo editing, this would be a great buy. Large screen or higher resolution is not always a better choice and it really depends on your needs. If I really want to get a full 1080P experience, I would watch the movie on my Samsung 46" HDTV. After comparing different brands and models, when I sit in front of my desk working on something, this is the most comfortable screen that I ever had. I just feel the crystal clarity at every second...
Buyer attention: removing sticker from top bezel of 2010i can be a pain since the glue residue is very strong as the other reviewers pointed out. I also observed that other HP 20** series monitors received many negative reviews only because of this. HP should take serious consideration on this. Here is a tip : "Removal of advertising sticker from top bezel of HP monitors at HP Support Forum": Check out comments section below.
About HP consumer monitor 2*** model:
Have been doing research on hp monitor for a while. I went to Costco to check also. Personally, I prefer the 'i' version to the 'm' version since I don't like the glossy finish. Even with the anti-glare coating, I still see things or myself clear on the screen. I feel eye strain too (the most important thing). I wish they had a bigger screen model. Unfortunately, they don't have the corresponding 2310i, 2510i, 2710i in US(only available in UK). They do have the 2310m, 2509m,2710m in US, but they are glossy finish. the only downside with the i version is there is no hdmi input.
Example
2509m
25 means 25"
09 means 2009 model
m indicates glossy finish

I am simply thrilled with this TV! I did a lot of research over a period of many months before making this purchase and it really paid off. I got a great price from Amazon and the product itself is wonderful! Great picture, terrific color, easy to set up and use, great features, very attractive sleek design. It allows you to either go with the standard settings or make all kinds of adjustments to the sound and picture from the easy-to-use menu options. You can customize your settings (and save them) for the various HDMI and other inputs. I ordered it late on a Sunday evening and it was already out for delivery to my home on Wednesday morning. Pilot Air Freight called ahead to make arrangements for whatever delivery time was convenient for me. You choose your own time right down to the half hour, in fact, my deliver person was actually early! They gave me free white gloves delivery with a very friendly, prompt, and careful delivery person. They bring it into the house, unpack it and put it on your TV stand, all in just a few minutes--and in perfect condition! Non-HD over the air broadcasts look fairly decent on it. Ordinary DVDs look excellent--even from an ordinary DVD player. It has a USB port so you can look at your digital photos on the big 52" screen, and believe me it makes them look fantastic--and huge! It's at its best when you watch Blu-Ray movies on it. They just look incredibly beautiful and the sound is gorgeous, even with just the onboard speakers. I can't wait to hear how it sounds with my new receiver and surround speakers! And it can play Master Audio disks. You can't go wrong with this TV. NEC PA271w-bk 27-Inch 2560 x 1440 1000:1 6ms Widescreen LCD Monitor Review

NEC PA271w-bk 27-Inch 2560 x 1440 1000:1 6ms Widescreen LCD Monitor

The NEC271W is a professional display. In the world of displays there are so much BS marketing hype tossed around in the form of insane contrast ratios, response times, memory card readers, 7 different kinds of inputs including one for your toaster and more. Anyone shopping for a display based on having a feature list you can rattle off against your friends shouldn't be looking at this display as there's plenty of Dell grade displays that will give you all that.
If you're a serious professional designer, photographer, or in the print pre-press area where color accuracy and control is critical this is your display. This is especially an important display for you if you're constantly having to work within different color gamuts as the display allows you to switch between AdobeRGB, sRGB, and the native full gamut all via the front panel. The amount of control NEC provides for this display is amazing. NEC allows you to calibrate this display to match the white point of the paper stock being used in a printer and even adjust the CMYK levels displayed so that what you see on screen is nearly proof perfect as to what will be printed. NEC tests every P-IPS LCD panel that goes into these displays and only uses the panels with the best overall uniformity. Any uniformity that's slightly off is calibrated at the factory and stored within the display hardware. There are no hot spots and the blacks are astonishingly deep, but that's what is to be expected when using P-IPS panels. These are the best LCD panels on the market period as they're a 10bit panel natively which results in an exceptionally wide color gamut, while traditional LCD panels are 8bit and cannot display as many colors.
What people might not like in the professional world is the change from 16:10 to 16:9 aspect ratio with this display. The resolution is the same width as a 30" display, but with 3 fewer inches the dpi is drastically increased as is the sharpness. The tradeoff is the vertical resolution of 1440 which lose a bit of display height compared to a traditional 30" 16:10. For me this isn't a problem, but for someone else this may be irritating, but in the world of design professionals it doesn't take much to get their panties in a bind.
This is a DVI and DisplayPort based display for inputs and requires a dual-link DVI video card. If you're on a newer Mac you will have a Mini DisplayPort, but will need an adaptor from the full-size plug to mini version. Normally I'd say buy a cable that does this, but apparently there are issues with how the cables are manufactured from Monoprice and several you'll find on Amazon. The gist is a lot of displays and video cards will ignore the incorrect wiring and things will work. This NEC plays by the rules strictly with newer ATI (AMD) video cards which will cause all sorts of sleep//wake issues. The solution is to use the included DisplayPort cable with a Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort dongle for now. Search around for this issue for more info, otherwise go with DVI if you can. This doesn't have HDMI inputs and that's a good thing. This display is nearly double the resolution that HDMI could handle and would require a hardware scaler in the display turning this professional tool into a consumer toy. Anyone that wants HDMI, composite, component, etc should look elsewhere in the pro-sumer or consumer grade display lines.
This display is enabling me to do much better work. Amazing color, viewing angles, sharpness, screen real estate, and a no nonsense bezel that's not plastered with gaudy logos are my quick awesome points, but everything above with multiple gamuts and the unreal control are panty misting worthy as a design pro. I'm in love and this is an excellent upgrade from the NEC LCD2690WUXi2 I previously had.

LG L246WP-BN 24-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor Review

LG L246WP-BN 24-inch Widescreen LCD Monitor

I suddenly found myself in need of a monitor with more inputs so I purchased this one. The HDMI input is particularly well done: there's a standard headphone jack on the left edge (next to the two USB ports) for listening to HDMI audio. I tested this with my AT&T U-verse DVR's HDMI output successfully. I imagine that the HDMI audio feature of the new ATI 2xxx-series video cards will work too. LG includes a HDMI-to-DVI monitor cable and a VGA cable. Should you need a HDMI-to-HDMI cable you'll have to purchase it separately. I bought a Monoprice 4-port HDMI switch and assorted cables to let me share this monitor between my DVR and PCs, an arrangement that works reasonably well. I have the component input hooked up to the DVR as well so I can watch TV using the monitor's PiP feature, though I've yet to use that much.
There are two tweaks that you may need to make. The default colors were way too dark from my PC, which I corrected by setting Picture | CSM to sRGB. That let me turn down brightness to a much more comfortable level. To view HDTV video without the picture being stretched vertically, set Screen | ARC to 1:1 instead of Full.
I'm very happy with this monitor. If you need a do-everything 24" monitor, buy this one.

Samsung SyncMaster 2253BW 22-inch LCD Monitor Review

First of all, great customer service from amazon.com. Ordered the unit on June 4, received it on June 6!
Pros: Easy setup and hookup. Be sure to use the DVI-I cable hookups. That's because digital input is so much better than analog. Plus, you don't mess with the buttons on the bottom right corner, except for the ON/OFF button on the far right. All your settings are configured through the video card's software interface. Download the newest driver from the Samsung website, install, and you ready to go.
Cons: DO NOT INSTALL MagicColor! It's a waste of time and conflicts with Nvidia Control Panel which causes computer lockup in some instances. (At least it did with me.) You have virtually the same settings in the Nvidia Control Panel interface. plus the panel seems a little more intuitive.
The previous reviewer did an analog setup, when every video card on the market today comes with a DVI output jack, plus just about every LCD monitor has an input jack. It just doesn't make any sense to go analog. Plus Samsung includes both cables! DVI is the only way to Fly!
Additonal Notes: Nice finsh with the piano glossy black color. The base is somewhat adjustable, but a little wobbly. I ordered the Ergotron Neo-Flex LCD desk stand to go with this monitor's VESA mount. A lot more adjustabiliity including height, much heavier weight, and it is able to rotate the entire monitor for text work.
All in all, a good spend of my money and the free shipping is always a bonus. I chose Amazon over Newegg also, since I would get free shipping on all the products I bought.

Sony Bravia XBR KDL-40XBR6 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV Review

I wanted the biggest set I could buy and fit into the built-in opening in our home (my wife's only requirement). I knew I would be paying extra for a Sony, but decided to make the plunge, since other 40" screens were several inches wider. This set is slim and atractive.
I have only had this set for a weeks and am still learning about it's many functions. My set is attached to cable, a blu-ray player for DVDs, and an older Denon A/V amp via S-Video for sound output.
Before buying, I researched features availble in a 40" LCD set in the store and on-line. This set led the pack in many ways. The picture is incredable. Plus, if you are into adjustments, you have a great deal of control over the picture settings. I have viewed in a highly lit room as well as in the dark. It's high contrast ratio makes it easy to watch in both situations. I can not detect the blurring, many LDCs suffer from in action sceans.
It packs all the latest video inhancements but most importantly, 120Hz, 24p. The built in speaker is even good, and makes a reasonable attempt at surround sound considerng it's is a single source speaker. Of course when hooked up to a A/V reciever, it makes movies come alive. I have not connected to a LAN yet, but am curious to try, soon.
It is loaded with input options (HDMI, LAN, USB, Composit, S-Video, etc). The only thing I would like to see is a more versitile USB port, so I could plug in a wireless reciever. This system has to be hard wired to a LAN. It would be nice if the computer input ports were on the side of the set, so it did not have to be pulled out to make these attachemnts.
The stand could be improved, it does not allow for any adjustment. It was not a big deal for me, since the set sits at eye level, but if it was sitting anywhere else, you would need to purchase an adjustable mount, which are axpensive for a set this size.
The manual is somewhat limited. There are many set-up options that are not full explained. I called Sony for a setup question. They answered fairly quickly. The first rep had me try several different things, but was not much help. Then he passed me on to the "blu-ray" expert, who answered my question in seconds.
Overall, this is a great set, I deffinately recommend it.
