(More customer reviews)I have a small center channel on the top shelf, dvd/cable box on the middle, and my stereo receiver on the bottom. The shelves sag when fully tightened down. Today, after having the shelving for 3 weeks, the bottom shelf mounting arm broke. Luckily I was able to catch my reciever before it fell on the ground. I ended up hurting myself in the process. Installation instructions were not very good, and one of the allen head bolts wasn't even drilled, so I had to find a replacement on my own. Shelving is also not very large, and my components barely fit on them. The cable management on the back is maybe 1/2" diameter, and I could barely fit 3 cords in it before it was full and then the slide in cover wouldn't go on. I can't afford another one unfortunately, so Im stuck with this. I just had to contact AVF to send me another mounting arm, hopefully they will do so with no issues as they have a lifetime warranty.

Very nice workmanship on the item and was packaged so well I doubt anything could have ever gotten broken.
My problem is the METAL swivel on the bottom of the whole unit, not just the top platform you have the TV on. This is a problem for 2 reasons; one is that you can not anchor down the unit and the second is the swivel unit on the bottom is going to scratch a lot of different surfaces.
Had to take the swivel off and use without which is a bummer to say the least.

Vantage Point AXWG03B 3-Shelf Glass Wall System Review

(More customer reviews)We have a flat screen LCD and thought this shelf system would be ideal to mount below the TV. We needed something that could handle the cable box, an XBOX and a DVD player, while managing all of the wires. Mounting was easy enough, provided you have a stud in the vicinity. We did, so no problems there. Drill a few holes and you are all set with the verticle part of the unit. This part, however, has a small (very small) groove in the back for wire management, but it is too small to be practical. Alternatively, the wires can be run along the front groove where the shelves mount, but because of the delicacy of the shelf mount, this is not recommended. More specifically, the shelves mount to the verticle beam via a small plate sized barely right and two tiny allen screws. While this has proven sturdy enough to handle the DVD player and the cable box, the shelf with XBOX has literally fallen twice, crashing down onto the floor (the temprered glass shelf survived and did not shatter). My wife is pregnant, and if we had a crawling baby around, this could have been a disaster. Consequently, I will be getting rid of this shelf system once the baby is born.
In short, for very light duty in an adult home where wire management is not important, this unit is fine -- it looks good and is easy to mount. But if you have greater expectations, spend the extra money and get a higher quality system. I wish I had.

The darker glass on bottom holds all your extra units (DVD, Cable box,etc.) and hides all wires neatly in the back of the unit. It is a tall unit, and a nice alternative to drilling a hole in your wall to mount a flatscreen tv.

Allsop Camden TV Stand Large, Dark Walnut Review

(More customer reviews)We were looking for a stand to sit on top of a bedroom dresser for a 37" flat panel LCD DVD to sit on, and to store our DVD and Roku players underneath. This fits the bill perfectly!
To address other reviewers concerns about it being scratched during shipment - ours was flawless upon delivery. It was inside a plastic bag, and the bag was inside a form fitted cardboard box, and that box was inside a shipping box packed with packing paper so it wouldn't move around during shipping. Perfect. Maybe they addressed the concerns previously mentioned on here since I don't see how they could have packaged it any better.
Also, we ordered on the weekend and actually received it on Monday! Talk about fast shipping!
The stand also looks nice, and fits in well with our decor. It is not "cheap looking" in my opinion.
