Techcraft Solution Series TRK50B TV Stand Review

While the quality of the item seems above the norm, customer service from this company is dreadful. My new equipment sat around in boxes waiting for a replacement for a damaged shelf that was delayed, then delayed again, by mix-ups on the company's part. Their refusal to budge an inch from their standard process, even though it meant further delay for a very unhappy consumer who had gotten tired of run-arounds and excuses, is a far cry from the real customer service I've experienced elsewhere. I will never buy another TechCraft item.

Bell'O TPC-361 Triple Play Universal Flat Panel Audio/Video System with Swivel TV Mounting Review

I normally don't write reviews that often but I am very excited about this TV stand I had to share (since there are no other reviews). We have hardwood floors throughout our house, and before getting this stand we had some silver colored cheap stand from IKEA. It certainly lasted long enough, but my wife and I are trying to slowly move out of the college dorm room look... This stand offers a perfect transition from the hardwood floors up to the modern design of the flat panel TV.
This is definitely a very high quality item and at a very reasonable price. My only complaint at first was the cost of shipping. But once I received the shipment I realized why as it weighs around 200 lbs. The wood is dense and seems like it can withstand some abuse over the years, and has a nice mahogany finish. The glass shelves are thick and I didn't have any hesitation putting somewhat heavy A/V equipment on it. The metal frame is solid and you can probably land a helicopter on it.
As far as space goes there is plenty. I was able to comfortably fit: A 5 disk DVD/Stereo receiver, An old VCR (never know, might come in handy someday :), and Xbox 360, a standard size comcast cable receiver, a PS3, and a Wii... And there is still plenty of space in between them so it does not look cluttered. The two drawers at the bottom are large and offer a ton of room for game controllers for all three systems, chargers, remotes, and some other random stuff, with room left over.
What ended up being a selling point for me originally is the 3-in-1 mounting option. My original plan was to mount the TV to the provided post (as pictured) then use the included wall mount later on once we get the walls painted. But once I set the TV up on the post I really loved the way it looked. All of the A/V cables can be fed through the center of the post so they are hidden. Now, the only cables you can see in the back are the power cables.
One other reason I think I might just stick to the post mount is because of the pivot mount... The mount works great on the post and allows the TV to pivot left and right. However, I feel like if it was mounted to the wall it might look a little awkward because it would be sicking out far from the wall do to the space needed for the pivot. So if you are wanted to get that picture frame look that is flush against the wall you should probably look into getting a separate wall mount.
Anyway, hope this helps...

Walker Edison Regal 4-in-1 TV Stand w. Mount - Wood Review

After spending hours looking at options for a TV stand or wall mount, I came to the decision to get a TV stand with a mount built in (because I live in an apartment). This is without a doubt the best choice in this category. It took me no more than 2 hours from the time I opened it until it was put together. The directions are pretty straightforward, even though I messed up a couple of times and had to backtrack. You can probably reduce the time it takes to build this by 50% if you have another person helping. Also, I HIGHLY recommend the 60" version over the 42" one. It is definitely worth the extra money. My 50" flat screen goes perfect with this stand.
Here are the pros:
- The parts were very well packed
- Looks sturdy, quality material. This should last me my entire lifetime...
- Simple, easy to follow directions. Everything is labeled.
- A plethora of screws/bolts for TV mounting options (your TV is almost sure to have the correct mounting screws included)
- The mount is the best mount I've ever used. The mount is made to be very easily adjustable. It tilts vertically, as well as horizontally. It will not, however, slide side-to-side (horizontally) or up and down (vertically), but the tilting options are more than enough.
- BEAUTIFUL STAND
- Plenty of space
Cons
- I've noticed dust collecting on the glass after a few days. I have a micro fiber cloth nearby now, and I'll probably have to make it a task to wipe it down real quick once a week. Not really much of a con though.
- It may take a little trial and error to get your TV on the stand at the desired height. You can eliminate the trial and error by doing some simple measuring/guesstimation though.
- Fingerprints might be a problem for people with kids.
- Might need extra washers. They gave me the exact number of washers that I needed, and I almost lost one when I dropped it.
Other things
Make sure you have plenty of space to put it together, and set aside a couple of hours to put it together. I have the TV the highest it will go (without allowing the mount to be visible) and there is about 7-8 inches from the top layer of glass to the bottom of my TV. This allows space for a quality center channel speaker to be placed directly under the TV. Lastly, if you're looking for a home theater system to go with this stand check out EMP Tek. Their Impression series speakers (in red burl color) match this stand perfectly; They will blow any mainstream brand speakers out of the water, too.
I can't really say enough about this stand. I have gotten comments on it from every last person that's seen it. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Display a flat-panel plasma or LCD television on this versatile 4-in-1 TV stand with mount from Walker Edison. With four different display options, the stand adapts to the specifications of the designated viewing space and the TV in question. The TV can be mounted directly to the stand, mounted to the wall, placed on the stand, or placed on the stand while a second TV is mounted to another room's wall. The 42-inch stand boasts a 250-pound weight capacity and best suits televisions with a 42-inch screen or smaller for on-stand placement. When wall mounting, however, the stand's removable universal wall mount accommodates screens as large as 52 inches and up to 150 pounds. The wall mount provides several different height settings, and allows tilting the screen up and down 15 degrees. To obtain the best angle for viewing, the mount swivels left to right.
The TV stand's frame and mount feature strong steel construction with black powder coat finish, while a solid hardwood front adds style. For holding DVD players, video game systems, stereo components, and more, the TV stand provides three shelves, crafted in 8mm beveled tempered safety glass. The TV stand benefits from concealed cable management. The TV stand requires home assembly and comes with thorough instructions and necessary hardware. The TV stand measures 42 inches wide by 18 inches deep, with a 20-inch height without the mount and a 51-inch maximum height with the mount. Assembled, the TV stand weighs 80 pounds.
