TV Swivel Base - Birchwood (Natural) (13" x 20") Review

(More customer reviews)The image on the web does not show the small (6 inch) metal swivel base on the under side. Such a small base does not provide stable support for anything having a footprint much larger than 6 inches. I found it useless for my intended use and felt mislead by the image they provide. To add injury to insult, they charged me $10 shipping twice, one for the return.

Convenience Concepts XL 2-Tier Swivel Review

(More customer reviews)This TV stand is perfect for our needs. We wanted one tall and wide enough to accommodate a cable box, a DVD player and a VCR, but no more than 32 inches long so it would fit on our chest-of-drawers. There are several out there that are either too small or too big. My search first brought up the smaller version of this product, then I found the XL 2. It's the only one that was the perfect size. It's very sturdy and was simple to put together. And although it swivels, it stays nicely in place when our cats jump up on the chest-of-drawers. It takes a bit more than cat power to push it around, I was relieved to learn.

(More customer reviews)Buyer beware!!! Make sure you want this item absolutely and positively before you order. You will have to pay return shipping and a restocking fee. Also, the bottom shelf is just two slats with a space in the middle. Not worth the price being charged.

(More customer reviews)When I turned over the television set I noticed that the bottom of the TV had interior ridges that made
the use of a flat surface turn-table a problem. It would have teeter-tottered and been unstable because of the ridges that prevented it laying flat, which it needed to be.
My neighbor had to cut a wood panel that he then inserted on the bottom of the TV, which made it flat and
allowed the turn-table to operate effectively. With the wood added the Tv sitting atop the panel can be rotated with just a touch of the finger. As I said, perfect with one major addition or adjustment.

(More customer reviews)Perfect fit for this monitor. Beautiful quality construction. Seems very durable. Only con: It spins a little to smoothly or easy for my taste. Sometimes have to try a couple of times to get it to stay exactly where I want it due to monitor cords giving resistance. But overall, wonderful product and would buy again! Turned my DoubleSight DS-263N monitor into a great bedroom HDTV as well as monitor!

Hawk Computer Monitor Turntable Review

(More customer reviews)This is a cheap Lazy Suzy for an art product or a potted plant to be place on. The design is two pieces of plastic on top of each other with ball bearing in the middle. It does not turn very well so it needs some friction from something heavy. I say 10-65 pound for it to work.

WOOD TECHNOLOGY HTV-21 TV Swivel for 19"-20" TVs Review

(More customer reviews)Once I got this put together it was fine. But I was not expecting it to need to be assembled and was not happy about having to spend the time to do it. Be forwarned!!
Also, although this size was fine I also bought the next size up for a larger TV and the unit could not handle the weight. Those of us that still have our picture tube TV's know how heavy they are. We have an older 24" Sony Trinitron (which still works like a champ)- but this unit cannot support it. The metal undeath that allows it to swivel simply cannot hold the weight.

(More customer reviews)I bought this for a 46 inch Flat Screen LCD TV that did not have a built in swivel base. While this product was intended for tube TVs up 30", it worked perfectly for my LCD. Solidly built, and swivel is low to the surface and very stable. It was just what I needed.

Sanus Systems TV-LCDB Swivel Base for 13" to 30" LCD Displays Review

(More customer reviews)When I found out my TV did not swivel yesterday, I searched Amazon for a swivel base and this is pretty much the only one I could find. I have a Vizio 42" LCD and was a bit disappointed when this was labeled for only 13" to 30". From looking at the specs though, the 20"x14" size was perfect for my 42" TV's base (which is around 15"x15") and the listed 75 lb weight limit was just enough for my TV's listed 67.9 lb weight. I ignored the 30" max size and ordered anyway, overnighted. This stand works perfectly with my 42". The swivel motion is smooth, non-fussy, and quiet. It's profile is small and the base looks great, blends in well with the rest of my entertainment center. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a bigger flat-panel TV in need of a swivel base.
One thing to note is that while Amazon lists the weight limit as 75 lbs, the back of the box for the stand lists weight limit at 150 lbs. Enjoy. :)

(More customer reviews)This TV Stand was exactly what I was looking for in its price range. It holds our 32" LCD TV on top (approx 28 lbs) with our DVD/VCR combo below with ample room on all sides of it.
This literally took me 7 minutes to put together and I would say it took longer to open the box and take out all the parts than it did to assemble it. Even with the quick and easy assembly, this appears to be solid and sturdy and I am not concerned about the weight of the TV being an issue at all. The fact that this is a swivel stand is just an added bonus for us, as we didn't need it but it could come in handy should we decide to use this in another room.
