Convenience Concepts Design-2-Go Wide 3-Tier Wood Grain TV Stand, Black Review

Convenience Concepts Design-2-Go Wide 3-Tier Wood Grain TV Stand, Black

We just received this product today, and I was able to set it up easily by myself. It looks very nice and isn't very heavy or too big to move around after putting it together. The shelves are a wood painted a shiny black. The poles are made of metal. There is a sort of cable tie that you have to attach yourself at the base of the lower pole and screw into the wall with a provided hook. We're not going to use it. I don't usually give out 5 stars but so far I can't find anything really wrong with this product. If anything changes, I'll make note of that later, but so far it looks very sturdy.
EDIT: One year later and it still works well!

Compared this model to last years, both sitting side by side at big box store and about $100.00 difference. New model well worth the extra dough. Both have 120hz, but this model has 50,000 contrast ratio vs.20,000, speaker system was better but still not the best. 4 HDMI (3 in back one on side),nice remote but I linked to my dish one. The base will swivel about 30-40 degrees either way. The onscreen set up was very easy and designed for your own taste in picture and sound. My one gripe is that it only has 1 anolog and 1 composite audio out,no fiber optic to hook to my reciever. The composite sounds good, but a audiophile might notice a difference. Still. a great set for the money.

LG 42LH30 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black Review

LG 42LH30 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV, Gloss Black
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I've been researching 40-42" HD TVs for months, looking for the ideal match for my needs that fit my budget of under $1,000. I looked at plasmas, 120Hz LCDs, 40", 42", Sharp, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, Vizio, Westinghouse, and LG.
I finally found it - on sale for almost two-hundred off (exactly eight-hundred-and-nine dollars). Would still be a great value at a thousand dollars.
I'd rather have too much control than too little with my electronics. The 42LH30 delivers all the control I want and more, but it also provides several nice presets for the type of content I'm watching (movies, sports, games, standard). It also lets me build 2 presets myself for exactly what I want. I can be picky or I can be lazy and still get a great picture for any situation.
The 50,000 dynamic contract ratio and 5ms refresh speed make for a superb picture/performance combo.
I was very close to going with a 120Hz 42" Vizio. They have been getting decent reviews. When the LG 42lh30 went on sale, it was a deal I could not refuse.
Some things I really like.
1) Outstanding picture (no compromises with colors)
2) Great performance (sports and movies don't judder at all so far)
3) Energy Star (several low power modes - I love flexibility)
4) Lighter than most (easy to hang on wall - I use an articulating arm)
5) Anti-glare awesomeness (I have lots of windows in my 3-seasons room)
6) Outstanding PC screen (when I just have to surf on the 42")
7) Upconverting DVDs look phenomenal (blu-ray player is next purchase)
8) Sound is more than acceptable on TV (I usually output audio to my Home Theater system if I will be watching for more than a few minutes)
Things I would change:
1) Only 3 HDMI ports (Fine for me now with cable box, DVD player, and PC)
2) I'd prefer a matte black bezel instead of a gloss finish
3) Maybe add an SD-card reader (my DVD player has SD and USB reader, fortunately)

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-P42S1 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV Review

Panasonic VIERA S1 Series TC-P42S1 42-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

In my quest for a new MB/R TV, I had been researching LCD vs. Plasma, features, pricing, ratings and reviews for more months than I truly care to even mention. I caught a late October in-store special at HHGregg, which not only offered the lowest price I had seen anywhere on this TV, but also a free Panny Blu-ray player. That made the deal both irresistible and unbeatable, at just under seven Ben Franklins for everything. These newer Panasonic Viera plasmas with the fast 600 Hz Neo PDP panels are brighter, more power efficient, have an ultra wide viewing angle, suffer no image retention, run much cooler and are only just slightly heavier than an LCD TV of the same size. The more natural looking plasma picture quality, along with the full-time 1080p zero motion blur, is seriously, as good as your gonna get. Period!! They are an absolute steal in this price range, compared to any fast LCD or LED models. This combined with the legendary Panasonic build quality and reliability made it a no-brainer. The top-of-the-heap ratings from Consumer Reports magazine along with stellar customer reviews, absolutely sealed the deal for me, hands down. Simply put, I just couldn't justify spending 2x-3x the coin for a 240 Hz LCD TV or an even pricier LED TV for about the same (or less) picture quality. You'd have to be a complete fool to spend so much more and get absolutely nothing for it. So I beg anyone to truly compare and understand the specs and features on TVs, (or anything you're buying) and DO IT BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING!!
As for the TV itself, the initial assembly was easy. The stand was very solid and stable, using a total of six stainless steel bolts for fastening to the TV to the stand. The rear panel is also made out of metal - not plastic, which would likely make for more sturdy wall mounting, if that's your choice. The remote also felt solid and worked well. Both the TV and Blu-ray easily programmed with my universal remote, making it even more convenient. The initial TV set-up menus were also easy to navigate and the Viera link automatically recognized and configured the Viera Blu-ray player flawlessly. Watching my local news and the recent World Series with free digital HD broadcast using only rabbit ear antennas in 720p looked awesome. The VZ FiOS TV HD channels looked incredible at 1080i and the Blu-ray movies were nothing short of absolutely breath-taking in 1080p - totally impressive!! The sound on the TV is also well above average for a flat panel, especially after you tweak the bass, treble and surround settings to your taste.
The Panasonic build quality is just what you'd expect: solid with a high gloss, piano black finish. They even include a soft polishing cloth to help preserve the TV's beautiful finish. I am absolutely impressed with the TV and can highly recommend it as an outstanding choice to anyone considering a fine addition for their home entertainment enjoyment. And no matter where you buy, don't be scammed by any in-store, shameless sales-hole trying to hose you with extended warranties or worse yet, overpriced "Monster-profit" HDMI cables. The truth is that you can get a quality 6-9 ft. HDMI cable online at many of the major online sites with no tax and free shipping for about the price of a sandwich! Trust me, there is NO difference; try it yourself and see. Save your hard-earned money for some of your favorite movie titles on Blu-ray. You will absolutely love this TV!! Just be sure and have at least one HD source - like an HD cable/sat. box or a Blu-ray player to enjoy it to it's fullest. I hope my honest review seriously helps anyone out there looking for a great HDTV at a more down-to-earth price. Enjoy life. ((Bob-O!))

I am really happy with this LCD. The newtwork features are what really set this set apart. I am sure these type of features will soon be common, but for now LG is leading the way. Under NETCAST, you have streaming Netflix, Vudu HD movies and youtube. The Netflix setup was easy and the movies lookedmuch better than I expected. I tried both SD and HD movies and they looked good but of course I will be glad when they get a better HD selection. The Vudu movie service is one of my favorite features and not evem because of the easy access to streaming HD movies at your finger tips. The best part of Vudu for me is that you can view HD trailers for upcoming movies, and most of the previews aren't even on TV yet. They lso have all the latest movies, so it's a better selection than Netflix. The youtube streaming also looked much better than expected. An example of how cool this feature can be, my wife was watching a talk show with friends an it was talking about the viral video of the baby dancing to beyonce and she was able to quickly pull it up and see what all the fuss was about. Needless to say her girlfriends loved it. The other nice feature of this set is the ability to use the usb drive to connect a thumb drive or hard drive and watch video clips, pictures or listen to music. You can also view media on your network, so this tv really does it all. Oh and the yahoo widgets are aslo available. They allow you to watch Yahoo videos, follow your Twitter account, yahoo weather, news, sports, stocks and Flickr. Lastly, there are plenty of settings adjustments that can be made to tweak your picture. There are some settings on CNET that look great. Oh, and I went with some linksys powerline adapters to get it onlne and they work great. I have had no problems with streaming any media, even HD.

As you can see this TV is priced to go! $699 for a 42 inch plasma? That's right. The catch? Well, It's only 720p. But don't let that stop you from buying this sweet unit. Here's the rundown: 1) Good Black Levels 2) 3:2 pull down for improved DVD playback 3) many aspect ratio settings 4) and many, many points of calibration. Simply put, the picture is awesome and you will likely spend the first 10 hours in disbelief that the picture is this good for the price. The drawbacks: 1) Not 1080P 2) No S-video Input.

46" Hitachi LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV Review

46 Hitachi LCD 1080p 120Hz HDTV
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
If you're looking for a flat-panel HDTV with the best picture and sound quality for the money - and don't mind if it doesn't have 3-D capability or some built-in internet gimmicks, get a Hitachi LED TV like this one. It has a sharp picture which it can upsample smoothly to 1080p even from standard-definition (SD) programs. Those are still surprisingly common on cable and satellite, and SD sources include 480-line DVD players and VHS tapes. (Yeah, I still have and watch those occasionally!)
This 46" Hitachi L46S604 is also a Best Buy in Consumer Reports, which rated it highest for both picture and sound. Hitachi is a reliable, high-end brand, but somewhat hard to find. It's designed in Japan but assembled in Mexico, like a lot of TVs nowadays. I am very happy I discovered it a nearby Sears Outlet store (brand-new, not refurbished) for about $700. That's about the same as from online retailers, but with the assurance of being able to exchange it easily and without huge shipping costs if there was a problem. I have read it was also available at Sam's Club, but I'm not a member.
The picture is beautiful and very sharp and smooth, whether in true HD from Blu-Ray or off-the-air, or from VHS tapes. Blu-ray and off-the-air HD is startlingly sharp, and prompted me to turn down the "Sharpness" setting on movies. When I look hard I can detect slight variations in brightness and the blacks are probably not as black as on the best plasma sets, but unless you have something to compare side-by-side, I think you'll be more than satisfied with it. The 120Hz processor smooths out choppiness compared to 60Hz on rapid scene movements. One nice thing is that you can adjust the intensity of the motion compensation from lot to high, and if you don't like the effect, you can also turn it off.
It wouldn't be fair to compare it with 600Hz plasma for motion reproduction, but in my opinion the superior upsampling of DVDs and clear sound (and lower energy consumption) more than compensate for that. I should note that I was initially dead-set on buying a plasma, probably a Panasonic; but after reading detailed reviews on CNET and Amazon, and shopping around, this Hitachi LCD was a better deal and had many advantages, such as much less reflection, no risk of burn-in, and a brighter picture (when desired for daytime viewing).
But the best thing about this TV may be the sound quality! It really seems that NO OTHER TV from any other brand sounds as good!
Am I nuts, recommending an HDTV for sound quality? Of course, purists might be using their surround-sound system for audio and the TV is strictly a monitor. I also use my high-end surround system for movies and TV, but as in many families, the wife and young kids generally can't be bothered to use a $4,000 7.1-speaker audio setup. They just want to watch a TV show like "Dancing with the Stars" or cartoons. And truth be told, with sound is this good, I also don't fire up my 750-watt AV receiver and 350-watt sub just to watch the news or to channel-surf. But I'm glad I don't have to compromise a lot and put up with the tinny, unnatural sound emanating from most other HDTVs, which is a major annoyance for many. The differences in sound quality among TVs are subjectively much greater picture quality.
Another thing I like about this TV are the large number and variety of inputs: 4 HDMI (including 1 with optional analog audio, needed for some PCs); 2 component video + stereo audio; 2 S-video (VERY unusual nowadays) or 2 RCA composite video with stereo audio; and 1 S-VGA (PC) + analog 3.5mm stereo audio. It also has a built-in USB port for viewing photos as a slide show from memory sticks, which is wonderful. There's also a 3.5mm/mini stereo headphone output.
The remote has large, clear buttons and backlighting as well as ability to control a DVD player, satellite/cable box, and VCR. The menu interface is also clear and easy to understand. Changing channels is quick, and displays the channel and station letters in an elegant white-outlined box in the upper right-hand corner for a few seconds.
As for the lack of built-in internet capability: If you want to browse the internet via TV, just connect your own PC or Mac to the TV, either via the HDMI or SVGA inputs. If you want to watch downloaded movies, if I am not mistaken your PC or Mac will not only be able to get anything that the latest high-end TV can and more, but for less money, and record it on the hard drive to boot. The only real issue is placement, but there are very compact network PCs and media servers designed for that.
This Hitachi TV outputs audio via both analog stereo RCA jacks and Toslink digital optical audio. (However, the Toslink output only works for TV broadcasts, not for any input sources.) This is very important for connection to an AV receiver without built-in audio delay capability: I discovered a significant "lip-sync" delay in the video vs. the origial audio signal due to the extensive video processing in the TV set, which seems to take about a fifth of a second (200ms, milliseconds). This is *not* a problem unique to the Hitachi, although it may be more noticeable than in other brands. The Hitachi generates an identical delay in its own audio, so there is no apparent lip sync issue when using the TV alone. With its audio outputs I can send the properly delayed sound back from the TV set to the receiver's "TV" input on the receiver.
(If you want to use the high-quality *digital audio* directly from a Blu-Ray or DVD player in your surround system and sync it with the TV image, however, be advised you need to get a receiver with built-in "lip-sync" or audio delay capability. Fortunately, I have a very good Denon AVR with that capability; otherwise I would get an exteral audio delay processor. Also, I had to do some planning to avoid a feedback loop caused by sending any audio from the receiver to the TV at the same time as selecting the TV as a source. I could have done this by using one of the "Tape" (or CD-R, VCR or DVR) Input/Output sets on my receiver, which have built in feedback-loop prevention (turning off the output when the input signal is detected). But I decided to avoid the problem completely and more simply by not sending ANY audio from the AVR to the TV. Instead, I am just getting sound from each video component by connecting the analog stereo signals directly to the TV.)

Hitachi 42”" LED LCD 1080p 120Hz Flat Panel HDTV: Model - LE42S704 Review

Hitachi 42” LED LCD 1080p 120Hz Flat Panel HDTV: Model - LE42S704
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
First, I should say that my last set, while being a flat panel LCD, was only 60hz and didn't really measure up when it came to watching Blu-Ray's and HD sports on the Dish. In other words, I probably don't have the proper reference for a TV like this. If you drive a Ford Pinto all your life and then suddenly upgrade to a Ford Mustang, the Mustang will feel like the greatest vehicle ever produced when in reality, it is far short of that.
I found this Hitachi at a Menard's on display for around $750. For a LED, 120HZ flat panel, well, I just couldn't pass it up at that price. After bringing it home and mounting it on my wall, I threw in the "Braveheart" blu ray and, WOW! The clarity and definition was unlike anything I had ever experienced before in my home. In fact, the picture looks like a live feed it's so clear. The Dark Knight was UNBELIEVABLE in blu ray! Also, standard definition DVD's look like blu rays too, which I wasn't expecting. But so far, I am overwhelmed with the picture quality. In fact, the picture is so vivid that, in a way, it almost takes the cinematic quality from movies. A lot of films purposely use a grainy kind of cinematography to achieve a certain look. This TV sort of takes away from that. Luckily, there is a few different picture settings that can tone down the vividness on the screen.
Unfortunately, I haven't watched a ton of sports on the Dish yet since football is over and baseball hasn't started. But I will make an adendum to this review later this year to include the "sports watching" quality.
All in all, my expectations were more than lived up to. Price and quality make it so I can't recommend this set highly enough!

Philips 42PFL7432D 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Ambilight Review

Philips 42PFL7432D 42-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV with Ambilight

I ordered this HDTV from Amazon on October 2, and it was shipped the same day. It was delivered with White Glove service (from a local agent-no Eagle in Lubbock) on Monday a.m. October 8. The local dispatchers, the two delivery men, and Amazon employees were all courteous and efficient. The set was un-boxed, placed in the bedroom, and packing was carried away. You will have to install the stand (a simple process).
I had researched all major brands of HDTV for months before making this purchase, including Sony, Samsung, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sharp and others. I looked at models locally at Best Buy, and compared full price with shipping but no taxes from several online vendors. The Amazon white glove deal was the best. I currently own two other smaller HDTV units, by Toshiba and Samsung (2007 models) and had previously owned a 2005 Toshiba that had a smaller screen and cost $1,000K more.
The TV is a hidden gem in the US marketplace. It has all the usual bells and whistles, including 3 HDMI connections, 2 component video, composite connections and a host of other standard AV connections. It is 1080p native, (accepts 24HZ and 60HZ signals) and includes 6 wide screen modes, including my favorite, an Automatic mode which will fill the screen fully as content changes. The remote control is backlit (an unusual feature), and features a really nice user interface for the on screen software adjustments, Regular software updates are made available that can be downloaded to a USB flash drive and installed in the TV. There is a great support thread at AVS Forums, and Philips product support is excellent. There are numerous high tech picture enhancements, such as Perfect Pixel HD engine, Active Control +(motion adaptation), Dynamic Contrast, Color Intensity, Digital Natural Motion, Jagged Line Suppression. and white point adjustments. You can select from 3 preset picture modes, or create a custom one. The audio section includes a graphic EQ, auto loudness control, a unique Delta Volume control which allows for seperate loudness adjustments for each channel and equipment input, and Virtual Dolby Surround. Sound is good for built in speakers, but you will want to run it through an audio system. My set has absolutely no dead or stuck pixels, no flash lighting, no clouds, and no backlight issues. Blacks are black and whites are very white.
Ambilight is the one unique feature that caused me to buy this set over all the competition. Ambilight provides 2 channel backlighting via LEDS that can be fully customizable in 4 modes. There are 3 active adaptive modes which react to the colors on the screen. My favorite mode is Color, which can be customized to any of 100 levels of deep color on the color scale, from orange to green to deep blue to purple to red, with everything in between. Color Mode is fixed.
Philips is very well known in Europe as the number 1 selling electronics brand over all others; it is in the top 5 in sales worldwide. The company, based in the Netherlands, has been in business for over 100 years. Philips is best known for its medical/ hospital tech in the US, along with Norelco shavers and an array of consumer electronics, including its sister subsidiary Magnavox (a value brand made on separate assembly lines.)
This is an excellent HDTV at any price, and a real value with advanced features.

After reading reviews, I recently purchased the 40" Sony XBR4 as it's considered one of the best LCD's on the market. But after 10 days of continuing to adjust and tinker with the settings on the Sony, I concluded the color was just too garish and sensitive. I even had a technician come out to look at the set, and he agreed the color quality on the Sony was inconsistent at best.
Enter the new LG 42LG70 which I purchased after returning the overrated Sony XBR4.
The LG42LG70 has a great picture...very natural colors. The set reproduces vibrant colors, but not in the garish, you need sunglasses to view it, way that the Sony did. In addition, the LG 42LG70 has some terrific settings such as "Fresh Color" which accentuates the green of playing fields when watching sports such as baseball (it does so without oversaturating other colors at the same time).
Furthermore, the LG 42LG70 is a good looking set! Thin, impressive black bezel, etc... I have a 42" Sharp Aquos in my den, but have to admit I like the picture quality better on the brand new LG 42LG70.
I highly recommend this LCD to anyone in the market for a quality television! (Plus, it costs less than the disappointing Sony XBR4!).

LG 42PG20 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV Review

LG 42PG20 42-Inch 720p Plasma HDTV
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have owned several HDTV's both Plasma and LCD. I wanted to stick with a plasma on this purchase because of the superior contrast ratio versus a typical LCD. I went to my local electronics store intent on buying an entry level Samsung A450. Despite my plan, I soon realized I could not pull the lever on the Samsung. Its picture suffered from severe jagged edges and presented an inferior image quality compared to the TV's surrounding it on the showroom floor. No manner of adjustments could resolve the problem, therefore I moved on to the similarly priced Panasonic and LG. I immediately noticed that the Panasonic had issues with background noise. This was despite the fact that the noise reduction feature was already turned on. The CNET editor review mentions this problem with the Panasonic plasma. Meanwhile I was impressed with the LG's smooth, clear, and lifelike picture. No background noise, and a deep rich color reproduction equal to that of the Panasonic. I decided to do some more research on LG reliablity and performance before making my final decision. As you would expect, it is easy to locate horror stories for any television brand, as of course people with a bad experience are more likely to post their sob story all over the web. The bottom line for myself was that a Consumer Review said that LG has a similar reliability record compared to other major brands, with only 2% or fewer models suffering from defects within their first year. That was sufficient evidence for myself while also taking in to account the 1 year parts & labor warranty (plus 2 years for the panel) provided by LG. I waited for a blowout sale, and then purchased the 42PG20. The first one arrived with a broken screen. Of course Plasma screens are glass unlike LCD's so they are more easily damaged in shipment. I refused shipment and soon thereafter received a replacement which arrived undamaged. Out of the box the LG is one slick & sweet looking plasma. Unlike some people, I prefer the high gloss piano black screen border. Its sleek and more upscale in appearance. I have HDTV running via an HDMI 1.3 cable. The picture is even better than it was in the store. Despite a low 1024x768 resolution, the HD reproduction is detailed and crisp. I was expecting to sacrifice a bit in this area, and am simply ecstatic that the difference between this TV and my previous 1080p is simply insignificant. As you would expect with a plasma, the colors are deep and rich. Unlike many LCD's, sports broadcasts suffer no ghosting or pixelation. SD broadcasts look great as well, with certain channels looking better after switching to cinema mode or one of the other customized picture settings. I have the LG TV ORBITER feature set to the ON position. A nice feature available to prevent image retention or burn in which can be an issue with plasma televisions. So far, this has not been an issue. I will mention a couple of minor negatives. This LG does suffer from severe glare if operated in a brightly lit room. As is the case with many plasmas, the glass screen reflects the bright windows in my living room. Thus, it will do better in a dark room or positioned with windows behind rather than in front of the TV. Also, this plasma runs HOT. It actually raises the temperature in my living room if run for a few hours. If I put my hand over the set, I can feel the heat rising from it. From what I've read, this is common with plasma TV's in general. Overall, I am VERY happy with the LG 42PG20. A great Plasma television, providing a fantastic HD picture while outperforming many of the other brands in this price range.UPDATE - Its been a couple of years, so I recently purchased the Samsung B450 Plasma and find it to be even better than this LG. See my review for details.

Haier HL42XD2 42-Inch 1080p D Series LCD HDTV Review

Got this tv on another site (Dell @ Home) for under $450 brand new, my first big screen lcd tv & I'm in love lol. Sound from the speakers is fine compared to other reviews of other products, namely Samsung, sound being less than adequate. This is fully adjustable in the menu as is the picture quality. TV is backlit so can adjust that too; watched Avatar & saw creatures I never noticed before. Everything is crisp & sharp, the colors jump off the screen into the room, couldn't be more pleased. Works great with my blu ray, dvd, dvr & HD Dish! Am getting a Acoustabar 520 & will wall mount it just cuz I can. Will complete the setup with a digital optical cable. Have seen this brand for computer monitors, so wasn't sure about tv's, there's not many reviews on Google etc, but at that price couldn't turn it down!! So far, Haier is tops in my house.

VIZIO E470VA 47-inch Class LCD HDTV 120 Hz Review

VIZIO E470VA 47-inch Class LCD HDTV 120 Hz

I've had this TV about a month now and am generally pleased with its performance VS price. I purchased this TV to replace a 44" 720P Rear Projection that was in my living room. This TV easily out performs that old TV. This TV is really very good when viewing HD sources. I matched a Visio Blu Ray player to use with this TV and there is amazing clarity. But, there is a noticable drop off when viewing non-HD sources like standard TV channels. Seriously, I don't think there are many 1080p sets that offer great standard definition viewing performance. Also, please note that there is an illuminated VISIO faceplate on the face of the TV that stays lit all the time. Now, using the TV in my living room this is not a problem for me, but if I had the TV in my bedroom it would drive me insane as it would probably illuminate half the bedroom! So far the only way I know to turn that light off is to unplug the tv from the power source. Please note that the remote for the VISIO TV was smaller than the remote for the VISIO Blu Ray player-that just seemed a bit odd to me. I also have difficulty menu-editing as when you are done editing they tell you to hit a button with a symbol on it that does not appear on the remote! Note sound output is pretty good-better than my 40" Sony Bravia, but I also am using a 5.1 HDMI theater sound system with it so I can pump it up even to higher levels when needed. On one BD I even had to turn the sharpness down bacause the main actor had 5 o'clock shadow that was so clear it was making me dizzy.

LG LSW200BG 37-Inch to 47-Inch Slim Mount Bracket Review

LG LSW200BG 37-Inch to 47-Inch Slim Mount Bracket

This was very easy to set up and it works perfectly. I have a 42" LG 5400 the tv is so slim and the mount keeps it very close to the wall. I didn't think I needed a tilting mount but I'm glad I did its a perfect compliment to this tv. The only suggestion is that if you cannot hit the studs with all 8 screws buy some good drywall anchors, the anchors that come with the unit are for masonry walls not drywall.
