(More customer reviews)Used a flat 1/4" oversized back plate to stradle metel stud and bolt thru to a closet. Mounted a 32" sony lcd at full extension-scary. Bouncey and sagged over 1" ,but the adjustments compensated for every drawback. Had to take the weight off the arm to use adjustment arm knob. Worried about all the play when moving to adjust but it's set and forget so who cares. Box store had similar item and was told not to buy cheap china on line. Box store item was made in china so I took their advice -saved 100.00 for same item on line-I like to "BUY AMERICAN" if I can but everything seems to be made in china or somewhere else.
