(More customer reviews)I bought this wall mount for my wife's workout room. We installed our 32" LCD TV on it. I chose this product because of the swivel articulation. I mounted it directly in front of my wife's treadmill, but wanted to ability to turn the TV sideways and down, so that she could use her Wii with it, as well. This product works about right with this size TV, but any larger, and I'd have to go with a different mount.
When inspecting this mount, prior to installing, I noticed a few things.
1)The instructions are sufficient for installation, but absolutely lack details about actually using the mount. It isn't rocket science, but it'd be nice to have some general usage suggestions.
2)The mounting holes on the wall plate are just a little too wide, if you're drilling into a single 2x4 stud in the wall. I actually had to drill at a slight angle, just to make sure I was going to hit the stud. So, when I inserted the screws, the screw heads weren't flush with the wall plate.
3)The arm of the mount slides in from the top, which was relatively easy to accomplish. But, the only thing keeping it from sliding all the way through the wall plate is a small set-screw at the bottom. That's it. It's probably sufficient, but they could have included something a little beefier, just for peace of mind.
4)The thumbscrews included for securing the VESA mount to the arm didn't come with any lockwashers. So, you should either add some lockwashers or you have to really crank down on the thumbscrews to keep it tight. And, even cranking down on it won't keep the TV from sagging downwards.
For the price and basic functionality, I give this 3 stars. But, it definitely loses points on these other 4 points.

While is does a ok job with two monitors it is not tall enough to work with four (unless the monitors have tiny 9 or 10 inch screens ).
If the post was 8 inches longer I would give it another star or two but as it I give it three starts.

(More customer reviews)If you've needed a basic mount for a lightweight device and shopped around, I'm sure you've discovered that it's hard to find any basic mount in brick and morter stores (even Wal-Mart) for less than $80. Here, for under $10, is a sturdy mount that will meet your needs. It's a well made device (appears to be heavy gauge steel) with a solid black finish. It's supplied with all the hardware you'll need, lag bolts, plastic anchors, and even the metric screws for the device you're mounting. I didn't use the directions to assemble it because it was so self evident to me, so I can't speak to the quality of the directions. The knob that adjusts the tilt angle is in a tight spot, but it is something that you will probably only need to tighten down once. If you need a mount that you will constantly be repositioning then this is not the mount for you, but if you just want to mount the device and leave it alone this will work fine.

It needed to be wide enough to handle a Vizio 32" screen with mounting screw points on the back that were 18 inches apart. I also wanted to attach a DVR that would fit snug under the TV and swivel with it. I didn't want to have to wall mount a shelf for the box or jury rig it to the TV. Another manufacturer, Peerless, had a box mount and bracket to mate all the pieces. The three pieces all worked beautifully together with a clean custom made look and now I can sit in a lounge chair or swivel the TV to watch my favorite game when I'm in the pool.

Most important is to use a level for installation as once unit is on the wall the "head" can not be rotated. Outside of that slight problem this is a good unit for the price. Package came right to house in two days via USPS, standard shipping. Hard to believe isn't it? Express shipping would have cost more and probably would not have arrived any sooner.

(More customer reviews)I used this to mount an Olevia 37" on a flat wall. It seems to be of good quality and holds solidly to the TV and the wall but it didn't work out for me. Perhaps my set, at 53 lbs. is a little too big for it. First, it only allows 15 degrees of tilt and swivel, which is very little movement, hardly worth the bother. I suppose I should have known that. Secondly, there is an adjustment knob you tighten to lock the TV into position after you adjust it (slightly) to the position you want. The knob is, of course, in the 2" space between the TV and the wall. I found it nearly impossible to get a hand in there to tighten the knob; I could only reach it with outstretched fingers, and it is not shaped for a wrench or pliers. Ultimately I could not tighten the knob enough to hold the TV in position so it creeps down until the bottom edge rests against the wall. Perhaps with a lighter TV it would work fine. At any rate, I am buying a different mount with more swivel adjustment.

Even during installation I thought it was a good product. BUT it was exactly as DaveG said, it would not hold my LCD TV up or down. The mount allows movement of about 90 degrees but would only stay in half of that range. The right-left rotation was fine. My TV was just 9 lb and the mount is rated for 15 lbs. Also I had to buy longer screws to attach the TV.
It is possible to use this -- if you just HAVE TO have a under cabinet mount -- simply use a long screw with a wingnut to hold it in a fixed position. Likewise, you could hold it up by attaching a spring. Of course with this rigging you couldn't raise or lower it without a hassle.
I finally put the TV back on the stand that it came with and left it on the countertop. Flipping it up and down would have been cool but this is not the product to do it with.
I sent it back to Amazon for a refund. Now I have to cover up the holes I made in the kitchen cabinet.

The piece that attaches to the studs in the wall is level and in very sturdy but the extending arm is slowly leaning down and it's an LED tv...not heavy. (More customer reviews)This product is very strong and very adjustable. It is perfect for my 55", 25 lb. LCD-LED TV. The mount can hold a great deal more weight than my TV. It has enough extension and swivel capability, that I can swivel my TV a full 180 degrees in either direction, which is extremely useful to me. When I'm not using it as a TV, I'm using it as a second monitor for my PC, so swiveling it towards my PC is essential. Plus, the extra extension is great. I keep my entertainment center credenza about 16" away from the wall, so there's ample space for all of the wires, power strips, UPSs, etc. that spill out the back. To accommodate, I pull the TV out from the wall to center it over the credenza, both front and back, and side to side. Truly an excellent TV mount. I am thoroughly impressed.

Sadly, the geek squad trusted the level that is attached to the Siig wall mount instead of using their own level. My tv was off by 1/4 of an inch which was noticeable but I didn't catch until the next day in the daylight. Then Best Buy wanted to charge me $100 to come back and correct their mistake. The mount is very sturdy and I like it a lot since it is an articulating mount. I would recommend it but just make sure you check a second level!
