(More customer reviews)This item arrived in a box that was obliterated at some point during the shipping process, either from the manufacturer to the retailer or from the retailer to me. It is extremely heavy and clunky metal. I opened the 80 lb box, saw the state of the product in disarray with some plastic pieces popped out and the styrofoam shattered and scattered about the product. I immediately taped it back up and sent it back so, in all fairness, I can't say how it would have performed as a tv stand, but it's a serious issue if a product is such a turn off in the box that a customer doesn't even want to give it a try.
