(More customer reviews)My husband is an installer. So I had ordered tons of mount for his projects. I could not resist the low price offered by Mountplus and bought this one from him. The mount was shipped by Amazon.com and was received quickly. When I opened the box, I could not believe my eyes. I had never seen any mount with such poor quality. It is, so " tiny". The ceiling bracket is only a 3.5 in x 3.5 in piece, 2mm thick. The bar is only 0.8 inch in diameter. All the weight is loaded to a single bolt, which attaches the ceiling pole to that plate. And this mount claims to load up to 165 lb. We have other ceiling mounts which are twice as strong, only claim to 135 lb. The overall paint was terrible too.
I felt that I might have received knockoff product. So I contacted the manufacture. To my surprise, they confirmed that this mount is their authentic product. We got a lesson and will stay away from this brand forever. This one is on its way back.
