(More customer reviews)Simple, no frills wall bracket to hold my 15" LCD. My purpose was to mount my screen on a pivoting bracket so I could view video and television while riding my indoor bicycle trainer.
Easy to assemble and mount...you do need a couple of wrenches so you can tighten the bolts a bit once it's on the wall.
Does what it is intended for and the price was right!

(More customer reviews)This mount is of extremely poor craftsmanship. Picture is deceiving, product has a flimsy metal frame, that is "stiffened" by a plastic cover on both arms. The plastic arms snap together, but do not stay together. Had to use tape to hold together. This is one of the cheapest mounts out there. Would not recommend even at the low price.

(More customer reviews)There's not a tremendous amount to say about a wall mount. I didn't pay a lot for this mount, but I was very pleased with it. It came with some big wallboard-mount screws and anchors. They look good, but I didn't use them, so I don't know how well they work. I was mounting onto a 2x4 and used lag screws instead.
The total travel length of this mount is not huge (15" or so?), but it was great for the application I had. It operates smoothly. There's a little bit of rotational play in the TV, but it seems to hold whatever position it's tilted to.
I wasn't sure my project was really going to work out, so I didn't want to spend a lot. But the whole thing worked out great, and I felt proud of how little I'd spent.

(More customer reviews)I relied heavily on other reviews to make this purchase, so I feel it is necessary that I leave my own. This is a great mount at an excellent price. The product specs on the website say it will fit 30-56 in flat panels. When the product arrived, the box says 30-50 in, so I got worried because I bought it for a 52 in Samsung. After reading other reviews, I decided to try it before sending it back. The mount fit our tv perfectly, and there was plenty of room. I also didn't realize it had a tilt feature, which I didn't think I wanted. It actually came in handy once we had the tv on the wall and were trying to secure it. Another reviewer mentioned having to attach all the connections to the tv before mounting, but with the tilt feature, this is unnecessary. The instructions were easy to follow, and installation was a breeze. I HIGHLY recommend this mount and buying on Amazon!

Sanus Systems LC1A-B1 Tilt and Swivel Ceiling Mount for Large Flat Panel 30–56-Inch TVs Review

(More customer reviews)I ordered this bracket along with a Sony KDL-46XR8 LCD TV. I couldn't use a wall-mounted bracket, as I couldn't find a stud in the wall above the fireplace.
First off, this is one serious bracket and have no qualms about it holding up my (expensive) new TV :-). It is well engineered, well built and swivels nice and smoothly. It comes with a few different options for mounting height and the adjustments for the tilt function works well with double set screws.
Only one problem and the reason for the four stars instead of five: The studs in my ceiling run width-wise to the TV and to the wall it's behind it, so I was only able to line up two of the four (well, there are two additional holes that lined up as well, but they were along the same plane) mounting holes. The TV doesn't sit "under center,' but just forward of the centerline - meaning that with only two bolts holding the mount it tried to push the back of the mount up into the ceiling, and pull the front of the mount down away from it.
It could have been my ceiling as the sheetrock wasn't flush against the studs for some reason. To solve the problem we added a brace across two off the studs and two more bolts running through the front and rear mounting holes and the additional brace.
This probably wouldn't have been an issue if the studs ran the other way, and wouldn't stop me from buying the bracket again. My ceiling might be unique but wanted to share the experience just the same as it added a few hours to the installation process. I am confident that the mount and the TV aren't going anywhere!
